Sintered tabular alumina is a purely sintered α-corundum material that is a compact body rapidly sintered at temperatures above 1900 ° C without sintering aids. It has excellent thermal volume stability and thermal shock resistance, excellent insulation properties, acid and alkali corrosion resistance. Tabular alumina is the preferred aggregate of amorphous and shaped high performance refractory materials, widely used in steel, casting, petrochemical, ceramics and incineration industries as well as electrical insulation, kiln furniture and catalyst carriers.
